COVID-19 Safety - Information for our Customers
LAST UPDATED 06/01/21: With a further lockdown imposed we continue to do our part in fighting the virus by following the Government guidelines. As such, our offices will be closed with all staff working remotely, but otherwise it is business as usual. We will continue to carry out site visits where remote activity is not possible, subject to careful risk assessment and scrupulous adherance to Covid Safety protocols (outlined below).

Visiting The Technology Group
We discourage all but absolutely essential face-to-face meetings only at our offices, for your safety and the safety of our team and those around us. Where you do need to visit our office, then we ask you to be aware of and observe our COVID-19 Safety Protocols.
- Arrive at Main Reception (West Wing). You will be asked to give your name (rather than sign in) and the Receptionist will call your host to escort you to the meeting space
- You will be asked to wear a face covering at all times unless seated in a meeting
- Observe the social distancing and sanitisation procedures when you enter the building (signed throughout). You will be asked to observe the building one-way system - up in the lift and down the stairs. If this presents any issues (eg from a mobility perspective) please advise your host
- Avoid handshaking or other physical contact
- You will be asked to take your temperature on arrival at the TTG office. If you have a high temperature then you will be asked not to enter. If you are showing any of the other symptoms of COVID-19 we encourage you to follow the current Government advice
- In the event of an outbreak of COVID-19 in TTG, we will contact you to let you know and would encourage you to follow the current Government advice
- If you test positive for COVID-19 after visiting our office, then we would ask that you inform us so we may take the necessary steps
- Avoid contact with people not directly involved in the meeting altogether (although you can of course be introduced from a safe distance)
- If weather permits, we may ask that you join a meeting in one of our comfortable outdoor meeting areas
- Occupancy of meeting rooms is restricted (the largest to 4 people) and where the discussion is not sensitive we would ask that doors remain open and, where possible windows, to allow air flow, as recommended
- Avoid sharing items in the meeting – eg pens, papers etc. If you need to use any shared equipment (eg screen remote control) ensure you sanitise it using the products provided in the meeting room before and after use
- If any equipment is being demonstrated to you, sanitise the devices fully using the products provided in the meeting room before and after touching them
- We will not be able to offer you our usual lovely refreshments, but do feel free to bring your own mug / water bottle and help yourself! We will be unable to provide any shared catering (eg buffet lunches)
- Use tissues or disposable gloves to avoid contact with high touch areas (eg door handles) and dispose of the tissues / gloves in the general waste bin immediately after use
- We have plenty of hand wipes, sanitiser, disposable gloves and face masks for you to use and, of course, washing facilities
- Please observe the protocols for using the bathroom facilities
- We ask that at the conclusion of the meeting, you wipe down the area you personally have occupied including the table area, chair armrests etc (the room will be thoroughly cleaned following the meeting too)
- In the event of an emergency or incident (eg a fire evacuation or medical emergency) then safety comes first and we do not expect you to maintain social distance, although we do recommend thorough hand washing following the event
